Our first ever Kimmie's Angels on Ice show brought out 13 world class skaters and over 4,000 supporters to the 1st Mariner Arena on a very hot night in Baltimore. Fans from around the world (seriously, we had fans from Japan) joined pediatric oncology patients and their families for a night of Olympic caliber skating all to benefit the Cool Kids Campaign. At the end of the night the response from the spectators was overwhelming. The crowd loved the performances and applauded enthusiastically for each skater, not just the local favorite, Kimmie! But of course, Kimmie stole the show with her first class skating and her heartfelt recognition for the cool kids in the audience.

Thanks to MLBPA and their Buses for Baseball program, the Cool Kids Campaign was able to invite pediatric oncology patients and their families to a night at Camden Yards. The kids were able to go on the field during batting practice, meet the players, get autographs, memorabilia and then stay for the game as the O's took on Toronto.
