Special Events Jordan Thomas Salon in Bel Air, MD held their first annual 5K race to benefit Cool Kids Campaign Thanks to Kaitlin and Becca who held a Cool Kids Birthday party! These sisters not only shared their birthday's with each other but with Cool Kids as well by requesting donations rather than presents! Goddard School in Hunt Valley, MD hosts a Hop A Thon The Goddard School hosted a Hop A Thon just in time for the spring bunnies! The kids collected pledges to support the Cool Kids Campaign and raised $1,200 for their efforts! Barnes & Noble Books Benefit Kids Across the Country  Many thanks to Barnes & Noble in Bel Air, MD for their donation of 677 books through their Holiday Book Drive.  These books have been sent to the pediatric units at the following hospitals:  The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Maimonides Infants & Children's Hospital, Brooklyn, New York Hasbro Children's Hospital, Providence, RI Children's Hospital New Orleans University of Maryland Medical Center American Cancer Society, Camp Sunshine Jana R. raised over $5,000 from her Gliding For Kid's Cancer fundraiser. Jana produced this skate show in Bethlehem, PA as her senior project which featured 25 skaters. She chose Cool Kids Campaign and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to be the co-beneficiaries of her efforts! Tara S. hosted her birthday party and instead of presents asked all her friends to bring donations for the Cool Kids Campaign! These donations were used to help publish the Cool Kids Connection. Girl Scout Troop #883 donated their "Gifts of Caring" cookies to the Cool Kids Campaign to be distributed to the kids being treated at Sinai Hospital. They donated a total of 115 boxes! The Jordan Thomas Salon in Bel Air, MD raised money for the Cool Kids Campaign through the sale of the TRIUMPH bracelets. Thank you to the Metro Edge Figure Skating Club in St. Louis, Missouri for their $1,000 contribution to Cool Kids! Baskin Robbins Re-Opening Donates Money to Cool Kids Campaign Thank you to each of the Baskin Robbins franchisees who donated funds to the Cool Kids Campaign in celebration of their Grand Re-openings!!
